Conceptual considerations: A concept of „feigned concern“ in contrast to genuine concern/ caring behavior

„Feigned concern“ (the term was chosen for this blog; for etymology see also Benn, 1999) refers to the deliberate display of concern to achieve personal objectives. In the context of female psychopathy, this behavior serves as a strategic tool to exploit social relationships and maintain a facade of normalcy (Patrick, 2018). As always, it is important to characterize the concept on the basis of certain objective criteria.
